ULTRA RARE
ONLY 20 PIECES WORLDWIDE
The 809 is the first Swiss chronograph to be worn in space by astronaut Scott Carpenter in 1962 aboard the Aurora 7.
This Panda variant is extremely rare, with an estimated production of fewer than 20 pieces worldwide. Featuring a wide 42.6mm beaded bezel and a 40mm case, this Navitimer once belonged to a French airline pilot. Its AOPA-signed dial has developed a unique patina under the influence of sunlight streaming into the cockpit.
A true aviation instrument, this timepiece is regarded as a Holy Grail among Breitling collectors.
