Iconic name in fine watchmaking, Patek Philippe has stood for decades among the most prestigious Swiss maisons.

We are delighted to offer a remarkably well-preserved example of the Gondolo “Square”, reference 3430 dating from 1965/1966 according to its movement number. A true piece of history.

Let’s start with a subtle yet highly prized detail: the JG (Jean Guillermin) Hallmark on the case back. Guillermin, the renowned Parisian jeweler, was responsible for the distribution of Patek Philippe watches in France between the 1950s and 1970s. Only pieces destined for the French market bear this distinctive hallmark  a charming and sought-after touch for collectors.

The condition is simply outstanding. The 18k yellow gold case remains beautifully preserved, with crisp hallmarks still clearly visible (often softened or lost over time). Its original champagne dial is equally impressive, retaining a superb, well-preserved appearance.

Don’t be misled by its 26 × 26 mm dimensions, as its 35 mm corner-to-corner measurement gives it an elegant wrist presence comparable to a 32 mm watch! This collectible timepiece will surprise you with its ideal proportions.

It is fitted with a brand-new custom-made brown leather strap and its original 18-carat yellow gold buckle.

Inside beats the renowned in-house calibre 23-300, a manual-winding movement decorated with Côtes de Genève a movement also found in certain Golden Ellipse models. It reflects the technical excellence and understated sophistication of the era.

The watch has been inspected and checked by our watchmaker; it runs perfectly and remains in truly exceptional condition.
