A stunning & rare Breitling Navitimer 806 in a gold-plated and steel version from 1966, is presented in remarkable condition. Featuring the iconic “Twin Jet” logo, this timepiece is fully original, with a beautifully even and light patina on the dial, enhancing its vintage charm.
This watch carries a fascinating history, having previously belonged to a Commercial Airline Crew Member (PNC) who wore it on numerous flights across Europe—a true aviator’s watch.
A legendary timepiece, the Navitimer is nothing short of an icon. Introduced in 1955, the 806 quickly became the pilot’s reference, thanks to its innovative rotating bezel with a slide rule. It is powered by the famous Venus 178 caliber, the same movement found in its sister model, the 809 Cosmonaute.
With its 40mm case, 41mm bezel, and short lugs, this timepiece offers incredible wrist presence, making it suitable for a wide range of wrists.
