Superb Pre-Cellini Rolex Orchid
An iconic creation from the Rolex house since its inception, the Cellini collection pays tribute to the renowned Italian goldsmith and sculptor Benvenuto Cellini, a symbolic figure of the Renaissance.
This model, dating from the 1970, belongs to the Orchid family, the predecessor of the famous Cellini line. It captivates with its beautiful and rare original linen & ghost dial (No Rolex), lightly patinated with age. Its case is made of 18k white gold, as is its integrated snake-style “cobra” bracelet (suitable for wrists of 16 cm and under). A very rare configuration for this model.
With its 23 mm diameter excluding the crown, this dress watch features surprisingly refined proportions that fit harmoniously on a variety of wrists. The watch is in a 100% original configuration.
Its manually wound mechanical Caliber 1400 has been fully inspected by our watchmaker. No additional polishing has been done, in keeping with our standards. A true horological gem.
